Nigeria's NCC Wins The European Award for Best Practices for 2016 in Communication

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) said yesterday that it remitted a total of N70 billion to the Federal government account in the past year.

According to the Special Assistant on Media to the chief executive of the commission, Mr. Yakubu Musa.

“This is in addition to the N30 billion paid by MTN Nigeria as a part payment of the N330billion fine slammed on it by the commission.

The report also said that the commission won the European award for best practices, 2016 which saw about 63 countries participating. The award was in recognition of NCC’s outstanding commitment, support and results in quality management strategies.
